FAQ

Will there be Parking Available?

We've got great transport links in Barnham and would strongly urge any visitors to travel by rail or bus to get to us. The railway station is closer to the event than either of the car parks but, yes, there will be car parking available. We're providing car parking at St Philip Howard School (car parks will be clearly signposted).

Directions:

  • There are 2 car parks numbered for the event. Please only use these car parks and do not park elsewhere in the village if possible

  • Car parks 1 & 2 are located at St Philip Howard School, accessed via Elm Grove South. It is the largest car park when approaching from the A29

  • Disabled parking will be available at Barnham Community Hall for Blue Badge Holders only.

Car parks 1 & 2 are a 10-15 minute walk from the fireworks event

Do you have facilities for disabled customers?

Yes, we have disabled parking available at the hall, simply drive in and show the security guard your blue-badge and you'll be allowed to park at the hall. The car park is hard standing and access to the event is flat and paved. We also have an indoor and disabled loo.

Can I bring sparklers?

No, I'm afraid not. The event is well-attended and we take the safety of our customers as our highest priority. We'd hate for someone to be injured by a sparkler on the night so, if that's your thing, please use them at home, safely, before you come.

Can I buy tickets on the gate?

If we still have availability of tickets we will be selling them on the gate as normal. However, last year we sold out, and because it's cheaper too, we advise you buy tickets in advance.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No. We have a fully stocked and incredibly well priced bar, cheaper than any pub. But it's not about making money for us; once again, it's about safety. Any glassware brought to site will be confiscated as broken glass, excited children and pitch dark is an awfully scary mixture, I hope you'll agree.
